What makes you excited about joining CSNA?
I am excited to collaborate with this vibrant and congenial group to deliver neurologic care to my hometown. I look forward to making a meaningful impact in my community and supporting the practice’s growth.
What does patient care mean to you?
Patient care is providing compassionate and comprehensive neurological services to the individual – I believe everyone has a unique story, and I take pride in actively listening to my patients to better assist them in achieving their goals.
Why did you become a Neurologist?
I understand what it’s like to have loved ones afflicted by neurological disease. This firsthand experience instilled in me a strong desire to contribute to the lives of others in similar situations. Diagnosis of neurologic disorders is often an intricate puzzle, and I love stepping up to the challenge. Beyond diagnosis, neurological conditions often require long-term management and support. It is a privilege to build longstanding relationships with patients at their families. Neurology is also a dynamic field that has undergone much advancement over the past few decades, and this gives me hope for even more growth and discovery in the future.
What is your specific interest in headache and that patient population?
Headaches are among the top reasons to see a neurologist! Early in my training, I discovered that headache disorders and facial pain, though common and often disabling, are highly treatable. Improving quality of life through multi-modal treatment has been a driving passion of mine. Headache medicine is a rapidly expanding field within neurology, making it exciting to be at the forefront!
What does it mean to you and your family to have the opportunity to return to Colorado Springs and practice in the community you lived in for so long?
After many years moving around, I am thrilled to return to my community to provide care. I am looking forward to settling down close to my support network, and I am eager to contribute to the city that I have always considered my home.
